That
big shakehole on the way to Top Sink - Gert Oil
(great hole - get it) has always fascinated. me.
U.L.S.A. had
been up here in 1968 and 1977. So we decided to have a go at it - besides we
had no tackle as usual so we climbed down Wretched Rabbit - Four Ways Chamber -
Easter Grotto - to Nagasaki Cavern and the second hole down led us into the
stream and down a l0ft. waterfall
in North West Passage to the boulder choke area looking for Maybe squeeze. We
tried everywhere but could not
find Maybe Squeeze - there is a rumour that it has
collapsed. Afterwards at the farm Jim Newton said he’d looked for it as well
but couldn’t find it.
