Heron Pot Trip Report - 1st. May 2018

My friend Kat was visiting for the
week, and what better way to introduce someone to the north west than to make
them go down a cave? Having borrowed some spare gear from Steve, we headed off
to Heron Pot to see the sights and learn the ropes. The whole trip took 2.5
hours from top to bottom, including some SRT practice on the first pitch. (We
took the low level route, since the water levels were low.) Kat enjoyed the
trip, endured the exit bedding crawl, and we exited to sunshine and nice views
of Gragareth out of the cloud for once.
